Indukuri Syam Prasad Reddy is the Chairman & Managing Director of Indu Projects Limited, one of the fastest growing private sector infrastructure companies in India.  

Under Syam’s leadership, Indu Group has grown at a phenomenal pace in the last 8 years having clocked a turnover of over Rs 19,600 million for financial year ending March 2009*, and growing at a rate of over 100% YoY since inception. His vast experience, in concept to completion of construction projects has helped him develop a wide network with clients.
 
Indu’s capabilities and fundamentals have attracted investments by Citibank, Sun Apollo, Red Fort Capital, Credit Suisse as well as partnerships with brand enhancing entities like Johns Hopkins University and IFFCO.

Syam’s contribution in the area of real estate and construction is immense. He has brought in professionalism to an otherwise unorganized industry and has actively contributed through forums such as TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) and FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry). 

For the knowledge and the vision Syam brings along, the Indian School of Business honoured him by inviting him to join their Executive Board. Very recently, Syam was chosen as one of the Finalists of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2008, a prestigious award that has carefully chosen outstanding Indian entrepreneurs and felicitated them for their vision, courage and leadership in building successful global businesses. 

  

CEO - Infrastructure Projects

Mr. B V Bhaskar Reddy has over 23 years of extensive experience in handling highly complex projects related to core and urban infrastructure like irrigation, water supply, power, multi-tier road and highway systems, integrated residential townships, advanced IT parks and others.

He is responsible for devising business development strategies, forging strategic alliances, establishing high level contacts in the industry and overseeing the overall business development operations of the company.

CEO - Mining

K Ramakrishna Rao has over 18 years of experience working in Government and corporate sectors. He belongs to the 1991 batch of IAS and has held leadership positions with the Government of Andhra Pradesh. He has worked as Collector for more than six years in two districts: Adilabad and Guntur. For the innovative public private partnership work which was done with TCS in the field of computer aided adult education, he received the prestigious “Satyen Maitra National Literacy” award in 2004.

He has done his under graduation in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kanpur and Masters in Design from IIT, Delhi. Later, while serving in IAS, he finished his MBA from Duke University, USA with specialization in investments and corporate finance.

Prior to joining Indu, he worked as CEO of Radha Realty Corporation as well as Director in Tempus Infra Projects. He was involved in development of prime residential and commercial real estate projects in Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai. He also worked on strategic projects of Tempus in power and construction sectors.

Head - Execution - Irrigation Projects

Mr. K.Kesava Reddy has over 26 years of rich experience in Core Infrastructure Projects like Highways, Dams, canal distributory systems, water supply and Public Health Engineering Projects.

He was with M/s GMR Infrastructure Limited as Vice President – Construction for Highway projects, M/s Louis Berger International Incorporation Limited (USA) as Resident Engineer for World Bank Aided projects like development of National Highways & Rural roads in Andhra Pradesh, he also executed the largest lift irrigation project (Mulwad Lift Irrigation Scheme) to irrigate 500000 acres in association with M/s G.H.Reddy Associates.

 

Chief Financial Officer


Mahender Basani leads Finance, Banking & Working Capital, Accounts & Audit, Taxation, Budgeting & Costing. He is also actively involved in overseeing and directing the strategy and functioning of company’s information technology infrastructure and managing financial risks of the company.

Prior to his appointment as CFO, Mahender nurtured new lines of business at Indu. He was instrumental in driving several key initiatives for the organization. Indu’s foray into Real Estate vertical is one such successful venture. With his best-in-class practices, Mahender, in his capacity as COO - Real Estate played a pivotal role in increasing the sales & profit growth of the company through effective strategies and operational improvement.

Mahender aims to help the finance function to transform from a 'supporting' to a 'business leading' function of an organisation, reducing its cost base whilst improving efficiency and quality of information and subsequent decision making.

Mahender has over 14 years of experience in strategic and operational aspects of management, including his experience at NIIT.

VP – Corporate Services &  SEZs

Sarvesh Soman leads the Corporate shared functions of Supply Chain, Project Monitoring Division, Safety and QMS. He actively leads and directs the development and marketing of SEZs.

Soman, a Civil Engineer, has over 18 years experience encompassing a broad spectrum of roles and functions in Construction, Infrastructure and Real Estate. He has a unique blend of experience in various functions of Corporate Management, Project Management and Design & Development.
Prior to joining Indu, Soman was with L&T-ECC for over 14 years and handled ever increasing responsibilities in various Construction projects e.g. in housing, commercial, refinery, cement plant, roads.

He is the founding Treasurer of SEZ Developer’s Association of Andhra Pradesh (SDAP). He is a student of Lean Construction and quite active on the Sustainable / Green Building initiatives.

Head - Power

He has 20 years of rich experience in spearheading the development of Thermal Power Plants from end – to - end and also in handling of large size Power EPC Contracts.

Earlier, he had successful stints with Power Majors - Thermax, Tata Projects, Bhushan Steel and KSK Energy Ventures.

Mr. Vijayabhaskar has done M. Tech (I.C. Engines & Gas Turbines) from NIT Warangal and also attended various Programmes in Advance Management.

In Indu, he is responsible for development of Power Projects and handling the EPC Business..
